Mashreq Arab Bank opened its new branch near Aden Square in a move to expand financial services to citizens and in line with the government and Prime Minister Mohammed Shi’a Al Sudani’s directives.

Mr. Sadiq Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Bank’s Board of Directors, said that the bank is working to implement its plan, which goes in two directions, the first is horizontal expansion by opening new branches in various regions of the country that provide financial services to the largest segment inside Iraq, while the second direction is to develop the work system by developing human resources and modernizing systems in a way that makes the country rise to the global level of services.

He pointed out that the modernization of electronic payment systems continues in a way that is in line with the Central Bank of Iraq’s directives to move towards full electronic transactions.

Al-Mashat emphasized that the volume of work in Iraq is large and needs advanced banking services, which makes us work hard to develop the reality of performance and provide world-class products.
